Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Welcome to Kitchen Commune, a cooking-together app for friendship and cultural exchange. By using the service, you agree to these rules and our Privacy Policy.
This is a frontend preview. Sign-in, live matching, AI suggestions, payments, reports, account deletion, and video calling are not connected yet. The policies below describe our commitments for the live service.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Kitchen Commune. Give accurate information about yourself and do not impersonate anyone else.
A respectful kitchen
Be kind and respectful of different cultures, languages, diets, and experience levels. Harassment, threats, discrimination, and explicit content are not allowed. Respect a person’s choice to end a conversation or call.
Protect each other’s privacy
Do not share someone else’s personal information, phone number, email, photos, or private call link. Calls use private Jitsi Meet links and Kitchen Commune does not record them. Do not record or share a call without everyone’s permission.
Report, block, and account safety
Use Report or block if something feels wrong. Accounts with repeated reports are paused for review. We can suspend accounts that break these rules. Contact us through the in-app Report option for now.
Cook at your own risk
You are responsible for your own kitchen safety. Take care with knives, heat, food storage, allergies, and unfamiliar ingredients. Matching and AI dish suggestions are not professional food-safety advice. Stop cooking or leave a call whenever you need to.
Payments and personal data
Payments are handled by Razorpay in India and Dodo Payments internationally. We do not store card details. We never sell your personal data or share phone numbers or emails with matches. We use profile preferences and ingredients for matching and AI dish suggestions, and email for sign-in. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.
Leaving Kitchen Commune
You can ask to delete your account and data through the in-app Report option. We follow India’s DPDP Act and GDPR principles when handling your information and requests. We may update these terms as the service develops.
